What You Need

  • Grapefruit Juice
  • Rosemary Syrup*
  • Lime juice
  • Peychaud's Bitters

What You’ll Make

INDIAN PAINTBRUSH

Named after the iconic Texas wildflower, the Indian Paintbrush is a vodka cocktail that's "beautiful in its simplicity and balance," says Garage bar general manager Paul Finn. Enjoy the fresh summery vibes of this simple cocktail with easy to source ingredients! The Indian Paintbrush is a delightful drink that you'll have in your back pocket whenever the mood for vodka strikes. We think it would also work wonderfully with gin.

RECIPE

  • 1.5 oz Vodka
  • 1 oz Grapefruit Juice
  • 0.50 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 0.50 oz Rosemary Syrup*
  • 2 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
  • Rosemary Sprig Garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

In a shaker, combine all ingredients with ice (excluding garnish). Shake well. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with a sprig of rosemary.

*ROSEMARY SYRUP

Prep your rosemary by cutting 7-8 stems to 4" in length. Pour 1 cup water into a pot and bring to a boil. Remove from burner and add rosemary to the water. Steep for 2 minutes. Add 1 cup granulated sugar and stir to dissolve. Once cool, strain, jar and refrigerate.
